Christian, husband, musician, and aspiring theologian. Every one of us carries a multitude of labels. Mine are a result of my faith, my love for the woman of my life, and my passion to see the gospel of Jesus Christ preached.
I'm primarily an electric guitarist. I grew up wanting to be the next Joe Satriani and John Petrucci, but wrist injuries in both my wrists forced me to slow down and change my playing style. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise, as God showed me that I can be expressive without the need for crazy speed. I now play for church worship teams, following the styles of Ben Gowell, Nigel Hendroff, Ryo Owatari and Masahiro Ando.
My musical experiences include playing for my bands The Sessionists and Only After Coffee, leading worship in my home church of Ang Mo Kio Methodist Church, playing for New Heart Music Ministries (touring in Taiwan, Malaysia and Singapore), Singapore Youth For Christ's Creative Arts Ministry, and for the Methodist School of Music.
